Bucs’ series with Butler moved to Joe Riley Park; Game times shifted to morning starts

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern has shifted its weekend series with Butler to Joe Riley Park in downtown Charleston. The Buccaneers and Bulldogs will play at 11 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, closing out the weekend with a 10 a.m. start on Sunday morning.

Joe Riley Park (Feb. 26-28)

Friday - 11 a.m.

Saturday - 11 a.m.

Sunday - 10 a.m. 

CSU (1-2) opened the season with a 4-3 win over West Virginia before seeing the Mountaineers take the final two games of last weekend's series.  

The Bucs' two midweek games were postponed due to rain. Makeup dates will be announced at a later time.  

TICKETS – Tickets will be available at the gate for $7. All seats will be general admission. Tickets previously purchased online will be honored. 

JOE RILEY PARK - Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park remains one of the premier stadiums and atmospheres in all of minor league baseball. Named after the city's longest-serving mayor, "The Joe" is the home of the Charleston RiverDogs, an affiliate of the New York Yankees. Riley Park hosted the 2014 Southern Conference Baseball Championship and previously hosted the South Atlantic League All-Star Game in 1998, 2000, 2004 and 2012.
