CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern hopes to extend a three-game winning streak as the Buccaneers host a pair of midweek games at CSU Ballpark. CSU will host North Carolina Central on Tuesday and USC Upstate on Wednesday night.
First pitch is set for 6 p.m. both nights and both games can be seen live on the Big South Network.
The Bucs wrap up a stretch of eight games in ten days this weekend, following their two midweek games, with a three-game series at South Carolina this weekend. CSU has the USC series and a three-game series with George Washington next weekend to continue to build toward Big South play on March 24.
As the season is heating up, so is the Buccaneer offense. CSU, fresh off a sweep over UMass this weekend, is coming off its best offensive output of the season. CSU pounded out 17 hits on Sunday to take the series finale from the Minutemen, 12-8.
