CHARLOTTE, N.C. (BigSouthSports.com) - Charleston Southern baseball and softball will both be featured on ESPN3 this spring as the Big South Conference announced its spring television schedule this afternoon.
The Buccaneers' softball game on May 6 at Campbell will be carried live on ESPN3 with first pitch at Amanda Littlejohn Stadium set for 2 p.m.
CSU baseball will be featured on ESPN3 against Presbyterian on May 12 at the CSU Ballpark with first pitch set for 7 p.m.
The Big South Conference announced its spring television schedule this afternoon, and at least 20 events will be carried exclusively on ESPN networks in April and May, while coverage on the Big South Network/Roku exceeds 280 total broadcasts.
ESPN3 will again showcase Big South baseball and softball, as well as the women's lacrosse championship match, while ESPNU will televise one regular-season softball game plus the Big South Baseball Championship contest for the second consecutive year.
This is the fourth consecutive season ESPN3's package features expanded coverage of the Big South baseball and softball championships, while the Big South women's lacrosse championship match will again receive exclusive nationwide exposure for the fifth straight year on ESPN3 on Sunday, May 7 at noon.
All of the Big South's ESPN events can also be viewed on the Big South-branded channel on WatchESPN via Apple TV and Roku.
