This week's Friday Feature goes to Evan Nations, a.k.a Big Bird, as some may call him. Nations is a 6-5 senior pitcher on the Buccaneer Baseball Team, majoring in Kinesiology. He plans to go into Medical Device Sales after he graduates from CSU.
Nations has recorded 89 strikeouts in his 45 appearances during his career with the Bucs. He's pitched 121 career innings on the mound and is slated to be Saturday's starter against High Point this weekend. This season he has pitched in nine games with 24 strikeouts in 25 innings.
