CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Southern football game at the University of Florida scheduled for Saturday, September 1, will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised live on the SEC Network, it was announced on Thursday afternoon.
It marks the second consecutive season and fourth time in the past five years the Bucs have been featured on the SEC Network. CSU kicked off the 2017 campaign against Mississippi State last season in Starkville, Miss. The Bucs also took on Alabama (2015) and Georgia (2014) on the SEC's flagship network.
The contest will be CSU's seventh against a member of the Southeastern Conference and the second consecutive season the Bucs open the year against an SEC member. It will also be CSU's second matchup against the Gators all-time with the first coming in the season opener in 2009.
Tickets for Charleston Southern football's 2018 season opener at the University of Florida are already on sale and now available for purchase through the CSU Athletic Ticket office. The Bucs are selling tickets for the CSU section through July 26.
Tickets are on sale for $45 apiece. Limited quantities in the Charleston Southern section can be purchased by CHECK or CASH ONLY either by visiting the CSU Ticket Office or by mail: CSU Ticket Office, P.O. Box 18087, Charleston, SC 29423.
