Friday Feature: Getting to Know Tyler Tekac

Charleston, S.C. - When the pressure is on, Charleston Southern football coaches know who to turn to. Kicker Tyler Tekac made two game winning fields goals last season against Gardner-Webb and Liberty University. The senior from Goose Creek, South Carolina has a career long of 49-yards and has already put up 29 points for the Bucs this season.  

"I'm kind of lost in the moment. I don't know if I could described the feeling because it is all so quick," Tekac said on making game deciding field goals. "It's definitely great seeing all of the support from the other kickers and the confidence from the coaches after something like that."

Most Memorable Game: Gardner-Webb last year

Favorite Flavor Cookie: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip

Best job to date: I worked at the airport and got to travel all the time.

"Come excited to see a good show," Tekac said. "I really do think it's going to be a good one."
