CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern head men's basketball coach Barclay Radebaugh announced the addition of Eric Wagenlander as the Bucs' video coordinator on Thursday. Wagenlander, a local product from Wando High School, comes to CSU after graduating from Wofford, where he was part of two NCAA Tournament teams as a player.
Wagenlander steps into the role that Colton Everett filled before being promoted to Director of Basketball Operations earlier this summer. As video coordinator, Wagenlander will lead the Bucs' video scouting efforts and also lend a hand in operating all facets of the program.
"I am very thankful to Coach Radebaugh for this great opportunity," Wagenlander said. "I'm extremely excited to be working at such a great university with a high character staff. I'm eager to get to work with our guys for an exciting year."
Wagenlander appeared in 25 games, starting one, at Wofford over the last four seasons. The walk-on guard helped the Terriers reach the NCAA Tournament in 2014 and 2015, and got a head start on his coaching career through close interaction with Mike Young and his staff.
Radebaugh is glad to add a former Division I player and promising basketball mind to his program.
"We are thrilled to add Eric to our staff," Radebaugh said. "He comes from a first-class program at Wofford and has all the things we look for in young coaches. He knows the game, is enthusiastic, a hard worker and relates very well to our coaches and players. We look forward to seeing the contributions that he'll make."
