CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charleston Southern's Phlandrous Fleming Jr. has been named the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Monday. Fleming averaged 14 points and five rebounds while connecting on 11-of-20 field goal attempts in two games.
Against South Carolina State on Tuesday, Fleming recorded 21 points on the strength of 8-of-12 shooting, including a 3-for-6 mark from three-point range.
