Becca Goldman

Becca Goldman joined Charleston Southern as an assistant athletic trainer in January of 2024. Currently, she works with the Buccaneers' Women's Soccer and Men's Golf programs. During the 2024-25 academic year, she joined the US Soccer Youth National Team's network of athletic trainers and has traveled internationally with the squad and the next generation of the United States Women's National Team members.

Prior to starting at CSU, Goldman served at Greenbrier High School in Augusta, Georgia as the athletic trainer from 2022-2023. While with the school, she was responsible for all 21 sports at the school and served as a mentor and preceptor for the sports medicine program there. 

Goldman graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2014 with her Bachelor of Science in Human Performance and Fitness Management. While there she had her own experience as a collegiate athlete as a member of the university's women's golf program. Following her undergraduate career, she received her Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant from Athens Technical College in 2018 and later on received her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Georgia College and State University in 2022. While completing her degrees at GCSU, she worked with the University of Georgia softball team for her final clinical immersion. 

Outside of collegiate athletics, she is a licensed physical therapist assistant in South Carolina and Georgia and has her performance enhancement specialist and corrective exercise specialist certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In the summer of 2025, Goldman completed the Integrative Dry Needling Foundations Course for Neurological Dry Needling for Pain Management and Sports Rehabilitation. Lastly, she purchased a boat in the summer of 2025 and can be found all over the waterways of the Lowcountry any day of the week.
