    CHARLESTON, S.C. – The key piece in Charleston Southern’s first NCAA Men’s Golf Championship berth in 12 years grew up in the Buccaneers’ backyard, literally. Freshman R.J. Keur (pronounced KERR), a Fort Dorchester High School product grew up playing on Wescott Plantation, one of the Bucs’ home courses, where CSU’s practice facility sits on the opposite end of the driving range from where Keur’s high school team practiced.

    HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Charleston Southern climbed one spot and finished tied for second with No. 46 Georgia Southern at the rain-shortened 2015 Wexford Invitational on Tuesday. Teams finished their incomplete second rounds in wet and near-freezing temperatures in the morning and the scheduled final round was canceled due to travel concerns and playing conditions to wrap up the Buccaneers first event of the spring.
