CSU will test itself in a strong field that includes South Carolina, Augusta and Virginia, along with Big South rivals Liberty and Presbyterian and former conference mate Coastal Carolina. The tournament will open with 36 holes Monday and conclude with 18 on Tuesday.

Senior Austin James anchors the lineup for Director of Golf Todd Selders' Bucs. James was named Big South Golfer of the Week on Monday thanks to his runner-up finish at the Charleston Southern Challenge. He carded a final round four-under 68, his best effort of the season, for the second lowest score in the field.

Jake Ezell and Jacques Wilson follow behind James and have provided CSU steady play for much of the campaign. Ezell is coming off a one-under 71 in his last competitive round. Wilson rounded into form late in the fall and will be looking to settle into a rhythm as CSU works toward the Big South Conference Championship. The Bucs will have three more events leading into the league tournament, including one next weekend in Myrtle Beach.

Derrick Villarreal and David Eller will bid to solidify the four and five spots in the lineup.

South Carolina is the defending champion in the event. Host USC Aiken is the lone Division II program competing.
