No. 9 Virginia headlines a group that includes three other top-25 teams and South Carolina, the defending Hootie champion. The event offers CSU another chance to round into form with the Big South Championship now less than a month away.
Senior Austin James is back in the number one spot in CSU's lineup for Director of Golf Todd Selders. James posted a two-under par 70, one of his best rounds of the spring, two weeks ago at the General Hackler Championship in Myrtle Beach.
Redshirt junior Jake Ezell is coming off one of his better performances of the campaign. He finished tied for 15th at one-over 145 in the rain-shortened General Hackler. Like James, Ezell highlighted his day with a two-under 70 in the opening round.
Art Griffin makes his second straight appearance in the CSU lineup as he looks to shake off rust after missing extensive time with an injury.
