CSU comes off an eighth place finish at last week's season-opening Wexford Intercollegiate. The Bucs were in position for a top-five showing following a two-under par second round but struggled in windy conditions on the final day.

Seniors Jacques Wilson (T-16th) and Art Griffin (T-25th) paced coach Jason Payne's squad and will once again be joined in the lineup by Dylan Patscot, Connor Moore and Elliot Gothe. Wilson and Moore are new additions to the Bucs' five from the fall campaign, and Payne is looking forward to seeing more consistent play going forward.

"Our guys all showed some flashes last week," Payne said. "It was good to see Connor do some nice things in his debut and Jacques as well. We want to play well this week and give ourselves a chance to be in contention Tuesday."

Moore was CSU's other top finisher last week, placing T-44th thanks in large part to an even-par second round. Patscot highlighted his first tournament of the spring with an even-par second round as well, while Gothe posted a 73.

In addition to host App State, Big South conference foe Longwood and former league rival Coastal Carolina highlight this week's field. CSU will play again next week at the Southern Intercollegiate in Athens, Ga.
