Buccaneers put three among the top three on the final day of the Gamecock Inaugural

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Timothy Davis, JP Caglione, and Seth Wolfe all finished among the top three in their respective events to pace Charleston Southern on the final day of the Gamecock Inaugural.

Top Three

Sprints/Hurdles/Relays
Justin Green led two Bucs in the men's 200m dash on Saturday. Green finished 18th in the field in 22.53, while Joshua Paramore was 34th in the field in 22.93.

Andrew Akright paced the Bucs in the men's 800m race finishing fifth overall in 1:54.23. Keith Terry crossed the line in 1:59.57 to place 18th in the event.

CSU's team of Justin Green, Andrew Akright, Josiah Scarlett, and Keith Terry took on the field in the men's 1600m relay event. The quartet crossed the line in 3:24.82 to pace sixth overall.

Jumps
Timothy Davis was one of three athletes to clear 14.5-meters in the men's triple jump invitational on the final day of the Gamecock Inaugural. Davis hit 14.70m on his first attempt to finish third overall in the field.

Throws
Ryan Spiecha and JP Caglione took on the field in the men's shot put invitational. Spiecha was sixth overall with his first attempt clearing 15.38m for his best throw of the event. Caglione finished ninth overall in 14.71m thanks to his second throw of the event.

JP Caglione and Seth Wolfe were both in the top three in the men's weight throw for the second consecutive weekend as the Bucs' duo placed second and third overall. Caglione's fourth attempt went 18.68m to place second in the field, while Wolfe's fifth attempt cleared 17.98m to place third. Spiecha was seventh overall with a throw of 16.05m.
