Bucs Compete in Two Meets over the Weekend

GREENSBORO/CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charleston Southern competed at two different meets this weekend. Some of the team traveled to Charlotte for the Charlotte Invitational while others went go Greensboro for the Aggie Invitational. The Bucs turned in several personal bests and three podium finishes.

Notable Finishes


Vincent Johnson had the top CSU finish in the hurdles with a sixth place time of 14.26 in the 110m hurdles. Josiah Scarlett also competed in the 400m hurdles and crossed the line in 54.89.

Timothy Davis clear the bar at 1.95m in the high jump to finish in a tie for fourth.

JP Caglione improved again on his season best in the hammer throw with his best mark measuring in at 52.83m.

Jeryck Wilson and Jaymee Domoney paced each other to personal bests in the 1500m. Wilson took fifth while Domoney placed eighth. Likewise, Trevor Dominy's 9:23.29 mark in the 3K steeplechase is a new personal best for him as well.

Up Next
The Bucs are back in action next weekend in Durham, N.C. for the Duke Invitational. The events start on Friday, April 19 and continue the following day.
