CHARLESTON, S.C. - Due to inclement weather, all game times have been changed on the first day of the Unconquered Classic, with start times being pushed back. Charleston Southern will now open up against Wichita State at 11:30 a.m. on JoAnne Graf Field, while taking on host Florida State in the nightcap with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m.

Tournament games will be hosted by both Florida State and Florida A&M over the three day weekend as CSU will take on Wichita State, Florida A&M, host Florida State and Northern Iowa.
Saturday pits the Bucs against the Shockers for the second time on the weekend at 2 p.m., while taking on Northern Iowa in the night cap at 7 p.m. Sunday's final action sees the Bucs taking on Florida A&M at the Lady Rattler Softball Complex with first pitch set for 11:30 a.m.
The Buccaneers enter the weekend going 6-2-1 overall on the season over the first two weekends, with CSU going 3-2 last week at the second Charleston Southern Tournament of the season.
Charleston Southern opened up the weekend with a 3-0 win over Jacksonville State and followed up with a 6-0 victory over St. Bonaventure at the CSU Softball Field. Jessica Brock connected on the early two-run home run against the Gamecocks on the Friday morning game, while Marci Christian drilled a three-run home run to highlight the afternoon contest against the Bonnies. The CSU pitching staff turned in a pair of shutouts on the day, striking out 12 batters while Jennifer Giles and Morgan Dowdy picked up their first wins of the season.
Saturday's action continued with the Buccaneers pitching staff hurling their third consecutive shutout of the weekend as Cheyenne Gandara and Giles combined for the 3-0 win over St. Bonaventure. Christian, Jessica Brock and Stephanie Sbardella all recorded RBI in the CSU victory. However, in the nightcap, Jacksonville State handed the Bucs their first loss of the season, topping CSU 9-1.
Sunday's single contest between CSU and JSU saw Christian and Brock hit back-to-back home runs in the bottom of the third inning, but the Gamecocks' Brooke Carvey hurled five innings of shutout relief for Jacksonville State in handing the Bucs the 5-2 loss.
Freshman outfielder Amanda Matsumoto leads the CSU offense in hitting .455 on the season with a team-high 10 hits and seven runs scored on the season. She also leads the Bucs with five stolen bases on the year, while recording a perfect fielding percentage in centerfield.
Christian and Brock have provided the power bats in the lineup for head coach Shane Winkler with Christian leading the way with three home runs while hitting .391 from the plate. She also leads CSU with eight runs scored and is second on the team with nine RBI. Brock is close behind with 10 hits and a .370 batting average on the year while leading the Bucs with 11 RBI. She is also the team leader with four doubles, a triple and two home runs.
All four CSU pitchers have seen time on the mound for the Bucs this year with senior Lauren Darden sporting a 1.27 earned run average on the season, while freshman Gandara is the team leader with a 24:5 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Giles sports a perfect 2-0 record on the season with a 1.94 ERA, while Dowdy sports a .224 opponent batting average on the season and a perfect 1-0 record on the year.
