CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern softball's scheduled game on Wednesday at Savannah State has been pushed back to Thursday afternoon due to expected inclement weather in the Savannah area. The Thursday contest will also be turned into a doubleheader with first pitch set for 1 p.m. at the Lady Tiger Softball Field.
It will be the second time the two teams have faced off in 2018 with the Bucs proving victorious in the initial matchup on March 7, 8-0. Eight different players recorded hits and five different pitchers made appearances in the circle as the Bucs snapped a five-game losing streak with the run-rule victory over the Tigers.
CSU is still scheduled to take on College of Charleston this afternoon at the CSU Softball Field. First pitch between the Lowcountry rivals is set for 4 p.m. on the Big South Network.
