The field features six top-100 teams, including No. 45 Campbell, the Big South's top-ranked club. CSU stands 105th in the Golfstat rankings and is looking to build momentum for the league championship in two weeks.
The Bucs struggled at times in last week's Babs Steffens Invitational but did string together a solid final round 296 (+8) to place fifth. Bella Johnson-Schmitz and Hayley McNeill tied for sixth to pace coach Matt Cram-Smith's Bucs. Johnson-Schmitz has given CSU a lift since earning her way back into the lineup. McNeill has been steady at the top of the rotation, logging three straight top-ten finishes.
Thompson led CSU with a T-19th place showing at last year's Web.com Intercollegiate. McNeill posted the Bucs' best round of the tourney with a final round one-under 71.
