CSU finishes 15th at UNF Collegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Charleston Southern placed 15th in the UNF Collegiate, which wrapped up Tuesday at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club. Senior Milleina Ohara paced the Bucs with a solid T-35th effort in the field of 93 players.

Old Dominion cruised to the team title with a 54-hole event record total of even-par 864. Chattanooga finished runner-up at +19, while Toledo, Dayton State and Western Kentucky rounded out the top-five. Daytona State's Jiwon Jeon ran away with medalist honors, shattering the tournament's individual scoring record with a torrid 14-under 202. Jeon posted rounds of 66, 69 and 67 to best her nearest competitor, Toledo's Pinyada Kuvanun, by eight shots.

Ohara tallied a final round three-over par 75 for the Bucs' best score of the day. She posted birdies at No.'s 3 and 16. Andriel Aimua (T-68th), Emelie Flink (T-55th), Hayley McNeill (T-64th) and Daniela Intriago (T-68th) contributed CSU's other third round scores.

CSU returns to action in two weeks at the Briar's Creek Invitational in Johns Island. Local rival College of Charleston will host the event.
