CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern returns from a month layoff this Monday and Tuesday at the Pinehurst Challenge. The 54-hole tournament, hosted by College of Charleston, begins with 36 holes Monday at Pinehurst's No. 6 course.

Senior Andriel Aimua and freshman Ellen Hume led the Bucs at the season-opening Cougar Classic, and again will anchor the top of the lineup. Sophomore Sydney Merchant, a transfer from North Florida, earned a starting spot in qualifying and will make her CSU debut.
Led by head coach Matt Cram-Smith, CSU will tee off its opening round on No.'s 17 and 18. Aimua is the lone Buc that competed at Pinehurst last year, when the event was played at the No. 1 course.
The Pinehurst Challenge is the first of three tournaments in three weeks that will wrap up CSU's fall slate.
