CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern continues its three-game homestand this weekend with contests against FIU on Friday at 4 p.m. and Ball State on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Buccaneers will be looking to build on a 1-0-1 start that includes a 1-0 road win at Wofford and a 1-1 draw against Mercer in the home opener last Sunday.

The Bucs have gotten goals this season from freshman Erin Rush in the victory over the Terriers and senior Peyton Motley, whose free kick produced the tie against the Bears. Senior Jazmin Gonzalez has played all 200 minutes in goal and has 12 saves, a .923 save percentage and 0.45 goals against average.
FIU is beginning a four-game road trip following losses to Stetson, Miami and Denver. The Golden Panthers, with 17 newcomers on their roster including 13 freshmen, return C-USA All-Freshman team member Sierra Moss. Ashley Adams has scored the lone goal for FIU while Christina Velazquez has made 15 saves.
The Bucs and Golden Panthers are playing for the third time and first since 2003. CSU won in Charleston in 1995, and FIU was victorious in Miami eight years later.
Ball State is 2-1 entering Friday's game at College of Charleston and has won 41 games over the past four seasons. The Cardinals have captured three straight Mid-American Conference West titles and were picked to finish second in the league this year. Ball State has wins over Purdue Fort Wayne and Morehead State and has goals from Jenna Dombrowski, Allison Abbe and Tatiana Mason. Tristin Stuteville has played all 273 minutes in goal with 10 saves, an .833 save percentage and 0.66 save percentage.
This is the first meeting between CSU and Ball State.
