CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Southern women's soccer team heads to Patriots Point on Thursday to battle the College of Charleston in the annual battle for the Silver Cup. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The Buccaneers bring a 2-0-1 record into the game, marking the first time they are unbeaten after three games since starting the 2009 season with four straight victories. CSU has wins over Wofford and FIU and played to a draw against Mercer.
The Cougars are 3-3 with shutout wins over North Florida, Coastal Carolina and FIU. Two of their losses have come to Wake Forest and fifth-ranked South Carolina. CofC has won nine in a row over the Bucs dating back to the 2009 season.
Three different CSU players have produced goals this season, with Erin Rush (Wofford) and Allie Crossland (FIU) scoring game-winners in 1-0 victories, and Peyton Motley finding the back of the net in the 1-1 deadlock with Mercer. Sidney Doherty has the lone assist, helping on the Crossland goal against the Panthers.
Jazmin Gonzalez has played all 290 minutes in goal and leads the Big South with a .941 save percentage and 0.31 goals against average. Her two shutouts are the second most in the conference.
CofC is coming off a 3-0 win over FIU last Sunday. Alyssa Beck leads the Cougars with three goals and seven points, just ahead of Laura Ortega with two goals and five points. Genevieve Henderson has started all six games between the posts and has a .724 save percentage and 1.46 goals against average.
Following Thursday's game, the Bucs return home to host Jacksonvile on Sunday at 1 p.m.
