MATTHEWS, N.C. - Charleston Southern senior midfielder Sidney Doherty was selected to the Big South All-Tournament team, the conference announced following the women's soccer championship game on Sunday.
Doherty scored CSU's goal in a 2-1 loss to Campbell in the quarterfinals, putting the Buccaneers in front in the 19th minute before the Camels rallied for a pair of goals in a 2-1 victory.
Doherty, who was named to the All-Big South second team, finished the season with team-leading totals of four goals, four assists and 12 points while also pacing the Bucs with 38 shots and tying for the top spot with 16 shots on goal. She concluded her career ranked in a tie for 22nd in school history with 10 goals and tied for 17th with eight assists.
CSU finished the season with a record of 9-6-2, its first winning campaign since 2011, and tied for fourth in the Big South with a 5-4-1 conference slate.
