Match Preview
Charleston Southern closes out its fall competition slate this weekend at the Furman Duals. It's the final competition of the fall in their first year under head coach Anca Dumitrescu as the Bucs close out a slate that included the CSU Invitational, the Mercer Gridiron Classic, and the ITA Carolina Fall Regional.

Filippa Ericson and Madalina Man have seen the most action for the Bucs this fall with the duo competing both individuals and as a doubles team at the ITA Carolinas Fall Regional hosted at Chapel Hill from October 17-20. The duo fell in the round of 32 in doubles play to Wake Forest's Emma Davis and Chandler Carter, but excelled in singles competition over the weekend.

Ericson fell in the round of 16s in the Singles Division I Consolation bracket after advancing to the third day at the event. Man went all the way to the Women's B Singles semifinals before withdrawing.

The doubles duos of Michelle Schmitz/Kimberley Koerner, Ericson/Man, and Tiffany Pyritz/Elizabeth Williams will be competing in the top doubles bracket on the weekend. The tandems of Femcke Van Rensburg/Yana Morar and Grace Waldron/Tyler Kirk will compete in the second doubles bracket over the weekend.

Singles competition is still to be determined based on weather conditions in Greenville.

The Bucs have shown promise throughout the fall under Dumitrescu and continue to build toward the spring championship season scheduled to start on January 18 at Clemson.
