Bucs Host Savannah State on Saturday Afternoon

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern returns home on Saturday for the first of four straight home matches to close out the regular season. CSU hosts Savannah State this weekend following two road wins earlier in the week.

The Bucs (7-7, 5-3 Big South) took down Radford and Longwood on the road to secure two Big South wins. CSU looked strong in both wins as they swept the doubles in each match and only lost one singles match between the two wins.

Many of the Bucs' singles players hitting their stride at the end of conference play. Madalina Man has won five matches in a row and eight of her last ten. Filippa Ericson, Kimberley Koerner, Tiffany Pyritz, and Michelle Schmitz have each won seven of their last ten matches. Man has just one loss in conference play while Ericson and Pyritz are 6-2.

Savannah State enters the weekend with a 1-10 record this season. They picked up their first win of the season a week ago on March 22nd over NC A&T.
