CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern will compete away from home for the first time in the 2019 outdoor track season. The team will be at the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Florida.
The Florida Relays are a three day even beginning on Tuesday night with the 5K. The event continues Friday and Saturday with the meet wrapping up on Saturday evening.

CSU hosted two home meets to kick off the 2019 outdoor track and field season and saw dozens of person and outdoor bests.
Caroline Edmonson has been stellar the first two weekends with podium finishes in both of the hurdle events the last two weekends. She also anchored the Women's 4x400m relay to a first place finish in the Settle Spring Break Invitational.
Milan Williams turned in a spectacular performance over two days at the Buccaneer invitational. She won the hammer throw and took second in both the discus and shot put.
Caroline Inman will make her first outdoor appearance in the 5K this weekend after taking 5th in the Big South Indoor championship.
The Florida Relays take place at Percy Beard Track, which has hosted UF track since 1959. The complex seats 4,000 and features a nine lane track that is patterned after the on at the 1984 Summer Olympics in the Los Angeles Coliseum. A Mondo surface was installed after the most recent renovations in 2006.
