Meet Preview
It's the preview meet to the 2018 Big South Conference Cross Country Championships for the CSU women's cross country team as the Buccaneers hit the road to High Point, N.C. on Friday afternoon. The Bucs are two weeks away from taking on the field at the Big South Championships that will also be hosted at the Ivey M. Redmon Sports Complex on October 26.

The Buccaneers have only been able to compete as a team twice in 2018 due to various factors, but CSU has posted a pair of strong finishes in both races. CSU won the inaugural Buccaneer Open to start the season back on September 1. The Bucs followed up with a second place finish at the Charleston Classic this past weekend in Johns Island.

CSU has been paced by a youthful resurgence at the top of its roster this season led by freshman Caroline Inman. The Lexington, Ky. native has been CSU's top finisher in both team competitions and has posted a top-five finish twice this year.

Fellow freshman Makennah Mills added a top-10 finish this past weekend at the Charleston Classic, while Zanelle Willemse added a top-20 finish in her second action of the season. The Bucs will look to continue to make strides against an expected strong field that will serve as a precursor to the conference championships in two weeks.

The Course – Course Maps (5K / 8K)
