Charleston Southern sophomore volleyball player Emma Minnick was recognized as this month’s S.C. Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center’s CSU Student-Athlete of the Month as voted on by the athletic department’s senior administrative staff.

Minnick boasts a 3.90 GPA while majoring in Marketing over her time at CSU. The Radford, Va. native led the Big South Conference in assists per set (10.27), while adding five double-doubles on the season. The Bucs hit .213 as a team thanks to her efforts on the year as CSU posted a team-record nine Big South wins in the spring season.
