Charleston Southern junior women’s cross country runner Taylor Barnes was named the November Donovan’s Custom Framing CSU Scholar-Athlete of the Month as voted on by the athletic department senior administrative staff.
 
Barnes is the third CSU athlete to earn the award for the 2019-20 athletic year. She is majoring in Public Health and posts a 4.0 GPA over her time at Charleston Southern.
 
She built on a strong junior season finishing among the Bucs’ top-five in every competition she ran. Barnes picked up All-Conference accolades for the first time in her collegiate career this fall after turning in a personal-record on her way to finishing 11th at the Big South Championships.
