Charleston Southern junior women’s soccer player Julianna Barbaccia was named the December Donovan’s Custom Framing CSU Scholar-Athlete of the Month.
 
Barbaccia is the fourth CSU athlete to earn the award for the 2019-20 athletic year. She is majoring in Biology and posts a 3.74 GPA over her time at Charleston Southern.
 
She built on a strong junior season starting all 17 games for the Bucs as a defensive midfielder, while ranking fourth among position players with 1,225 minutes of action this season. She also helped anchor a CSU defense that posted six shutouts, including four in Big South play.
