Charleston Southern sophomore women’s tennis player Tiffany Pyritz was named the January Donovan’s Custom Framing CSU Scholar-Athlete of the Month.
 
Pyritz is the fifth CSU athlete to earn the award for the 2019-20 athletic year. She is majoring in Accounting and posts a 3.97 GPA over her time at Charleston Southern.
 
Pyritz carried over her summer success into th fall as she posted multiple wins throughout the fall tennis season. The Wake Forest, N.C. native made a run to the 2019 ITA Summer Circuit doubles title match after a season where she tied for the Bucs' most singles wins and Big South wins on the team. 

So far this spring, Pyritz boasts a 1-1 singles record and a 1-0 record in doubles play. Both of her wins came in the Bucs' 5-2 victory over Elon as the sophomore put together a three-set singles win on court no. 1.
