Charleston Southern freshman men’s basketball player Matt Kormylo was named the February Donovan’s Custom Framing CSU Scholar-Athlete of the Month.

Kormylo is the sixth CSU athlete to earn the award for the 2019-20 athletic year. He is majoring in English/Business Administration and posts a 4.0 GPA over his time at Charleston Southern.

Kormylo has lined up in 13 games to date in his freshman season with baskets scored against Dayton, Southern Utah, and Eastern Kentucky. He added a career-high three rebounds and two assists against Piedmont international.
