The Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center is home to the Charleston Southern Buccaneers tennis team.

Situated in the back part of campus next to CSU Ballpark, the eight-court facility is home to the five-time Big South regular season champions and is one of the toughest facilities in the nation for a visiting team to pick up a win. Since the 2020 season, the Bucs are 24-2 on their home courts.

During the summer of 2015, the Buccaneer Tennis Complex underwent an upgrade highlighted by a complete resurfacing of the facility.

The facility was dedicated to Gary Clark Banks Sr. on Feb. 20, 1988 after the late Joseph W. Holliday of Gallivants Ferry and the Banks family of Summerville invested significantly in the development of the college’s tennis center.
