JACKSONVILLE, FLA. - Charleston Southern junior MeMe Jean rounded out her season with a 20th place finish in the semifinals of the 100-meter hurdles at the NCAA East Regional on Saturday.
Jean ran in 13.48 seconds, 0.20 off the time she needed to qualify for the NCAA National Championships June 11-14 in Eugene, Ore. The Pompano Beach, Fla. native crossed the finish line in 13.30 seconds on Friday to qualify for the semifinal round.
Jean won several 100-meter hurdles races during another stellar campaign, highlighted by her second straight Big South Conference title.
