Bucs announce 2020-21 Blue Friday campaign sponsored by Zaxby's

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Southern athletic department is kicking off its "Blue Friday" campaign sponsored by Zaxby's this weekend and will carry through the entirety of the 2020-21 athletic year.

Starting this Friday, September 4, the Buccaneers will be encouraging all CSU students and fans to wear Buccaneer Blue. The campaign is meant to elicit a sense of pride for everyone on campus and in the community, as well as serve as a rally point for Buccaneer athletics and a way to show support for the student-athletes.

Students on campus will also have the additional bonus of Bucky walking around on campus every Friday during the campaign and handing out Zaxby's coupons to the first 10 students he sees wearing CSU gear.

Zaxby's has also partnered up with Charleston Southern on Blue Fridays for an additional treat. CSU students and fans dressed in their CSU gear on Blue Fridays will be able to receive one free Zaxby's Nibbler. This deal is only available at the University Blvd location located near the main Charleston Southern campus.

This year's "Blue Friday" campaign kickoff is also in conjunction with the 16th Annual College Colors Day which will feature more than 195 million college fans nationwide wearing the gear and colors of their favorite institution.
