Buccaneer Cheer sets registration and video submission deadline for tryouts

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 1 p.m. ET, Friday, June 11^th
VIDEO SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 1 p.m. ET, Saturday, June 12^th
PROVISIONAL TEAM ANNOUNCED: 5 p.m. ET, Sunday, June 20^th

APPEARANCE:

Females: Wear navy, gold and/or white athletic apparel. Hair & makeup "Gameday ready" (half-up hair preferred with bow)
Males: Wear navy, gold and/or white athletic apparel. Hair & facial hair "Gameday ready" (clean shaven with hair pulled back if long)
Shoes are required in all videos

VIDEO SUBMISSIONS
Please be sure to follow the order of each section for your tryout video.

INTRODUCTION:

First and Last Name
High School (if new) and Hometown (everyone)
Fall 2021 Class (freshman, sophomore, etc…)
Primary stunting position
Secondary stunting position (if applicable)
Why do you want to be a Charleston Southern Cheerleader?

GAMEDAY & SIDELINE:

CSU Sideline with spiriting
- Females & Males: Required
CSU Fight Song with back handspring/tuck or jump
- Females: Required

TUMBLING:

Standing: back handspring, back tuck, back handspring back tuck, etc. (all that apply)
Running: Maximum of 2 Running Passes

Preferred minimum skills for females: standing back handspring & round off back handspring

JUMPS:

Females: toe touch, right & left hurdler, pike

STUNTING:

3 videos displaying 3 different skills
Choose stunts that best show off your skills
Preferred: Top Girls to show a heel stretch with a full down

If you can't provide us with the preferred skills listed, substitute with the best skills that you can execute safely & consistently.

*Those who make the squad will be required to showcase their skills in their tryout video at the first day of practice*
