CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern women's basketball waits another day to return to the Buc Dome but the Buccaneers will welcome in UNC Asheville in a 2 p.m. Sunday tip live on ESPN+. It will mark the second Big South opponent to play inside the Buccaneer Fieldhouse and it will tip-off a stretch in which three of the next four are on the home court.

Opening Tip
• It may have taken an extra day -- pushed to Sunday -- but Charleston Southern returns to the Buc Dome to begin a stretch of three home games over the next-four contests by playing host to UNC Asheville.
 
• The Buccaneers are seeking their first home triumph of the campaign and looking to snap a current three game skid after opening Big South play with a road victory at Winthrop in the final game of the 2021 calendar.
 
• The Bucs are coming off a 10-point setback at Presbyterian Wednesday night, their closest margin of league play and since a five-point loss at Georgia State Dec. 19 during the Georgia State Holiday Classic in Atlanta.
 
• Senior Sharita Godfrey nearly had an unconventional double-double during the contest at PC, tallying nine points to go along with a career-high eight assists. Her assists total is the most by any CSU player, this year.
 
• The two teams split last year's meetings played inside the Buccaneer Fieldhouse, including a 67-63 Charleston Southern  win Jan. 15.
