CHARLESTON, S.C. – One more game on the regular-season docket awaits the Charleston Southern women's basketball program, as it heads to the mountains of North Carolina for a Saturday afternoon clash at UNC Asheville. The two league foes will meet at 2 p.m. on ESPN+ in the final game before next week's Hercules Tires Big South Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Opening Tip
• The first regular season under head coach Clarisse Garcia comes to a close for the Buccaneers Saturday afternoon, as they head to the mountains for an ESPN+ tip-off at UNC Asheville.
 
• Charleston Southern learned Thursday its Jan. 29 tilt at Hampton has been declared a no contest by the Big South office. The game was suspended midway through the second quarter due to a power outage at the arena.
 
• The Buccaneers capped their home slate Wednesday night with a 76-42 setback to North Carolina A&T. Sharita Godfrey was the only CSU player to reach double-figure scoring with her 16 points, while finishing a rebound shy of double-double with nine boards. She was joined by Alyssia Faye and Tyra Wright for a Senior Night celebration prior to the contest.
 
• Saturday's game will serve as an important step to determining the final seeding of next week's Hercules Tire Big South Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina. Charleston Southern's first game will be Tuesday, March 1.
