Bucs Drop 2-0 Decision at College of Charleston

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – Charleston Southern turned in a solid defensive performance but could not match that on the offensive end in a 2-0 loss at College of Charleston on Wednesday night.

The Bucs held the Cougars to 13 shots and just six on goal with Sara Curtis making four saves. Dakota Fiedler, Jenea Knight and Bri Robinson each had two of CSU's 11 shots.

Charleston took the lead on a goal just 1:06 into the contest and added an insurance tally in the 77th minute. The Bucs responded after the opening Cougar goal with three shots in the opening three minutes and held a 7-6 edge in that department at halftime.

CSU continues its city rivalry tour on Tuesday with a 2 p.m. game at The Citadel.
