CHARLESTON, S.C. -  For the second time this week, the Charleston Southern tennis team has swept their match, defeating the Bucknell Bison 4-0 on Wednesday at Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center. 

The Bucs (9-5) once again dominated from the very beginning, taking care of business in the doubles competition. The team of Tiffany Pyritz/Zoe Cauthen kicked off the afternoon with a shutout victory, winning 6-0. That was followed by Kassandra Di Staulo/Marina Skegro, who dominated as well with a 6-1 victory. Luiza Fullana/Khyanna Singh did not finish their competition, as they were tied at three as the other matches were finishing up. 

The Bucs carried the momentum into the singles competition, completing the shutout of the Bison (9-10). Di Staulo was the first to take home a victory, as she won her match 6-0 in the first round and 6-2 in the second. That was followed by a sweep by Amila Jusufbegovic, who won 6-0 and 6-3. 

Marina Skegro and Fullana also dominated their competition on Wednesday. Skegro won 6-3 and 6-0, and Fullana took care of business with a 6-1 and 6-2 win. 

Noa Boyd won 6-3 in her first round and was ahead 4-1 in round two before the match was called. Singh was a point away from claiming victory, but the match was unfinished after the Bucs claimed victory.

The Bucs will have a few days off, as their next match is not until Sunday. The UTSA Roadrunners are coming to Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center for a 1 p.m. match with CSU.
