CHARLESTON, S.C. – After going 2-0 on Thanksgiving weekend, the Charleston Southern women's basketball team will be back at home for the final time in 2024, as the host the College of Charleston Cougars on Tuesday evening inside the Buc Dome.
It is the last of four-straight home games for the Buccaneers (3-6), who defeated North Dakota State and South Alabama this past weekend in the Buc Dome.
College of Charleston comes into the weekend with a 5-1 record, having just been defeated by the same North Dakota State team that lost to Charleston Southern on Friday night.
Last season, the Cougars took home a 70-60 victory over the Buccaneers, outscoring the Buccaneers 20-9 in the final quarter. For College of Charleston, Lara Rohkohl had 16 points, eight rebounds and four steals in 37 minutes. She returns for her junior season for the Cougars.

Catherine Alben continues to shine in her junior season, as she leads the Big South, averaging over 15 points per game. She has scored over 20 points in two contests this year, including Friday night against North Dakota State where she scored 21. On the defensive side,
Saniya Jones leads the team with 10 blocks, having picked up her 50
th career block in the win over South Alabama on Sunday.
A win on Tuesday evening would be Charleston Southern's first victory over College of Charleston since 2010, as the Cougars have won the past eight contests. They lead the overall series over Charleston Southern 49-11.
Tip-off for Tuesday's game will be at 5 PM on ESPN+. It will be the first of a doubleheader, as the men's basketball team battles UT Martin at 7:30.
