FARMVILLE, VA. – Charleston Southern Women's Cross Country raced to a fourth-place finish at the 2025 Big South Championships on Friday morning. This year's meet was hosted by Longwood University with the women competing in a 5K.
 
Katrina Husby raced to a tenth-place finish with her time of 18:15.8 in the field to earn Second-Team All-Conference. Freya Buglass was the next to cross the finish line as she claimed 16^th overall with her time of 18:27.7 for a new personal best.
 
Giada D'Agostino, Lucy McNamara and Charlize Antia went 26-27-28 with their times of 18:46.8, 18:47.4 and 18:49.9 to complete the scoring for the Bucs. Other runners in the lineup for the squad included Kallie Henderson (37^th – 19:17.3), Brianna Adams (48^th – 19:36.8), Elizabeth Shaylor (49^th – 19:42.9) and Sienna Rose (58 – 20:08.3).
 
High Point claimed the conference title for the ninth consecutive fall with a team score this year of 20 points. UNC Asheville was the runner-up with 62 followed by Radford in third with 94 and Charleston Southern in fourth with 107.
 
The Buccaneers continue their postseason in two weeks with them traveling to Charlottesville, Virginia to compete in the NCAA Southeast Regionals. The race is scheduled for the morning of Friday, November 14 with the University of Virginia serving as hosts.
