CHARLESTON, S.C. – Fresh off a thrilling 53-51 victory over South Carolina State on Friday, the Charleston Southern women's basketball team sets their sights on a three-game homestand in the Buc Dome over the next seven days.
 
The Bucs open the home stretch with Georgia Southern on Tuesday, November 22 at 5:00 p.m. as part one of a doubleheader Sonic Gameday with the men's basketball team facing Piedmont at 7:30 p.m. Following the Thanksgiving holiday, CSU returns to the court on Friday, November 25 at 2:00 p.m. to take on Mercer. The Buccaneers then wrap up the homestand on Monday, December 1 at 6:00 p.m. against Allen.

• Charleston Southern returns to action after securing its first win of the season, a 53–51 victory over South Carolina State thanks to Caelan Ellis' driving game-winner with one second remaining.
• Ellis posted a career-high 16 points in the win, including 11 in the second half and five in the final minute. She enters Tuesday averaging 10.6 PPG while shooting 39.5% from three. Her 3.0 three pointers per game are the most of any player in the conference.

• Georgia Southern (2-3) enters Tuesday's matchup coming off its most complete performance of the season, a 93–72 home win over Mercer where the Eagles shot an impressive 61% from the field.
• GASO features one of the Sun Belt's most balanced scoring attacks, with four players averaging at least 10 points — led by Shanti Simmons (14.2 PPG) and McKenna Eddings (13.6 PPG).
• Georgia Southern averages 78.2 points per game, including 6.8 made threes per contest, and has topped 90 points twice already this season.
• The Eagles are led by head coach Hana Haden in her second season at the helm in Statesboro.
