CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Southern women's basketball team continues its non-conference schedule with a challenging three-game stretch, featuring two home contests and a nationally ranked road test before the Christmas break.

The Bucs open the week on Wednesday, December 17, hosting ACC foe Clemson at 11:00 a.m. inside the Buc Dome in an Education Day matchup. CSU remains at home on Friday, December 19, welcoming regional opponent Furman for a 6:00 p.m. tip before wrapping up the stretch on Sunday, December 21, with a noon road matchup at No. 18 North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

• CSU is led by a quartet of double figure scorers. Redshirt junior Caelan Ellis leads the Bucs averaging 11.1 PPG, followed by Tyonna Bailey (10.9 PPG), Asha Sra (10.6 PPG) and Thelma Barbitch (10.2 PPG).
• Ellis and Barbitch are the catalysts behind CSU's perimeter attack. The duo ranks first in the Big South and 19th in the country in three pointers per game averaging 3.0.

Opponent Information: Clemson

• Clemson enters Wednesday's matchup at 7-4 overall and 1-1 in ACC play.
• The Tigers are led by Mia Moore, who averages a team-high 12.5 points per game, while Rusne Augustinaite adds 11.5 points per contest and shoots over 45 percent from three.
• Defensively, the Tigers hold opponents to just 54.8 points per game while forcing nearly 15 turnovers per contest.
• Head coach Shawn Poppie enters his second season at the helm in Clemson.

Opponent Information: Furman

• Furman enters Friday's matchup at 5-6 overall and has won three of its last four games.
• The Paladins are led by Clare Coyle, who averages 14.0 points and a team-best 7.8 rebounds per game.
• Alyssa Ervin provides perimeter scoring for Furman, averaging 12.4 points while shooting over 34 percent from three.
• Head coach Pierre Curtis is in his third year leading the Paladins.

Opponent Information: No. 18 North Carolina

• North Carolina enters the week at 9-3 and ranked #18 in this week's AP poll.
• This will be the first time the Bucs have faced a ranked opponent this season.
• The Tar Heels are led by Indya Nivar who leads the team in scoring with 12.4 PPG. She's also racked up a team-high 43 assists and 44 steals on the season.
• UNC is led by seventh year head coach Courtney Banghart.
