ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Charleston Southern women's soccer battled to a 1-1 draw at St. Bonaventure on Sunday afternoon, closing its New York road trip with a hard-fought result.

The Buccaneers broke through in the 20th minute when junior defender Claire Deangelis stepped into the attack and buried her first goal of the season. The Bonnies equalized just after halftime as Giovanna Coghetto converted a penalty in the 48th minute.
