Sra Secures Second Straight Double-Double as Bucs Fall to UNCA at Home

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Southern women's basketball team dropped a 60-48 decision to UNC Asheville on Wednesday night inside the Buc Dome.
Tyonna Bailey led the Buccaneers with 17 points, while Asha Sra recorded her second straight double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Defensively, Mya Dotson posted a career-high four blocks, anchoring CSU's interior effort.
UNC Asheville opened the game with stifling defense, holding CSU to 3-for-15 shooting in the opening period. The Bulldogs built an early advantage behind six points from Nia Green, taking a 15-8 lead after one. Charleston Southern continued to battle defensively but struggled to find consistent offense, shooting 4-for-18 in the second quarter.
