JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Charleston Southern women's basketball team is facing the #2 Radford Highlanders in the first round of the 2026 Air Force Reserve Big South Basketball Championships Thursday night at Freedom Hall Civic Center
 
The Buccaneers enter the contest at 8-21 overall and finished the regular season 6-10 in league play.

  • The standout guard earned Big South Player of the Week honors twice this season (Jan. 5 and Feb. 2) and recorded 10 20-point performances, including two 30-point outings. She poured in a career-high 31 points at No. 18 North Carolina Tar Heels women's basketball and posted six double-doubles, all in conference play. Bailey scored in double figures in 22 games overall and closed the regular season with 18 consecutive double-digit performances.
  • Head Coach Clarisse White is seeking her first Big South tournament victory.
  • It's the first time the Buccaneers and Highlanders have met in the Big South tournament since 2017 when Radford beat CSU in the semifinals in Lynchburg, Virginia.
