High School: Long is a 5-8 combination guard/forward who comes to CSU by way of Mililani, Hawaii, where she played at Mililani High School.

In her junior season with the Trojans, she earned Hawaii Prep Stars Player of the Week honors on November 28th and served as the team captain and leading scorer, averaging 12 points per game and eight rebounds per game in leading the team to an undefeated regular season and a fifth place finish in the state tournament. She was selected to the postseason conference All-Star team and her team was also selected to play in the Mayor’s Elite Tournament, where the team finished runner-up. As a sophomore she was received Honorable Mention honors for the Hawaii State Girls All-Star team after averaging nine points per game and 10 rebounds per game. She was also ranked #12 by MAXPREPS.com among the top Hawaii state players. In her freshman season, she started all 12 games on the JV team, averaging 11 points per game and six rebounds per game in leading her team to an undefeated season. Following the season, she was promoted to the Varsity team for their postseason play.

She is a two-time team captain with the Trojans and was recently selected to represent the United States in the 2012 World Games this past June following her junior season, taking part in the tour that included games against Germany, Austria and Hungary.

Long is the daughter of Guy Long.
