2017-18

• Averaged 1.0 points per game, scoring eight points on the season
• Connected on 44.4% of her field goal attempts, shooting 4-of-9 from the floor
• Finished the season with seven rebounds (three offensive, four defensive), averaging 0.9 rebounds per game
• Finished the season with two assists and one steal
• Scored a season-high eight points on December 15 against Southern Wesleyan
• Season-high three rebounds on December 15 against Southern Wesleyan
• Played in eight games, averaging 3.4 minutes per game

High School: Jackson signs to CSU by way of P.K. Yonge High School in Gainesville, Florida, where she averaged 10 points and four rebounds per game.  She was selected as the 2017 All-Area Basketball Player of the Year and 2016 Gainesville Athlete of the Year.

Jackson recently finished an outstanding prep career for the Blue Wave that stretched from her time as a middle schooler.  She began her varsity career for coach Willie Powers in the seventh grade when she was a member of their 2011-12 State Championship team.  In the following five years, Kailya helped lead them to a District Title and Regional Final appearance (Elite Eight) every season. She finished her career there with 1,032 points. 

In her senior year, Kailya lead her team to a 24-3 overall record, averaging 10 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals per game on her way to being named the Gainesville Little School Player of the Year. Along the way, she also earned First Team All-Gainesville Area and Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) Player of the Year honors.  Jackson was also voted into the FACA North-South Senior All-Star Game.
