High School: Steede signed with CSU from Marietta, Ga. and Wheeler High School where she lined up at power forward for Coach Soel Howell. She also played for the Atlanta Lady Celtics club team under Coach Daphne Smith.  She had a breakout junior campaign in the competitive 6A region in Georgia on her way to averaging 17 points and 12 rebounds per game in earning First Team All-Region honors.

Steede comes from an athletic family with her sister Tashayla lining up on both the Georgia Southern and Belhaven women’s basketball teams. Her brother Trevin plays on the Chattahoochee Tech men’s basketball team.
